K-ETA exemption countries are nations whose citizens can visit Korea without applying for the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) during the designated exemption period. This policy is valid until December 31, 2025, allowing travelers from certain countries to enjoy a simplified entry process.

If you are from one of the following K-ETA exemption countries, you do not need to submit a K-ETA application during the exemption period:

Important Notes for Exempt Travelers

You must still meet Korea’s visa-free entry requirements (valid passport, confirmed return ticket, etc.).

The exemption applies only to short-term stays (up to 90 days, depending on nationality).

The Korean government may change or terminate the exemption without prior notice.
When K-ETA Is Still Required
If your country is not listed among the K-ETA exemption countries, you must apply for K-ETA at least 72 hours before boarding your flight to Korea.
